FSU Opera presents Summer Opera Double Bill

Argentina is the setting for this double bill and each opera explores the theme of a woman’s sexuality and empowerment: Lucrezia through riotous comedy and Maria via the dark, dangerous, and threatening seduction of the tango.

FSU Opera presents a double bill of Campbell/Bolcom's Lucrezia and Ferrer/Piazzolla's Maria de Buenos Aires on June 3rd & 4th in Opperman Music Hall at 7:30pm. Argentina is the setting for this double bill and each opera explores the theme of a woman's sexuality and empowerment: Lucrezia through riotous comedy and Maria via the dark, dangerous, and threatening seduction of the tango.
