This year’s tour promises to be a showcase of some of Tallahassee’s finest landscapes and features six residential gardens in addition to a unique new community garden space.
The day starts Saturday, May 18, at 9 a.m. with a continental breakfast on the lawn at the garden entrance inside beautiful Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park. At 10 a.m. those in attendance will receive a booklet containing brief descriptions and directions to the gardens that are being featured on the 2019 Tour. Tour-goers may then proceed on their own self-driven tour of the gardens where docents from the Leon County Master Gardener program will be on hand to answer any questions.

: Advance tickets, $30; day of event, $35; $5.00 discount for Friends of Maclay Gardens. Tickets can be purchased online at http://friendsofmaclaygardens.org or at Esposito’s Garden Center, Native Nurseries, Tallahassee Nurseries, Wild Birds Unlimited, and the Ranger station located at the entrance of the State Park - cash or check only at these Locations.

I would like to talk with someone and see if my yard can be entered on the Maclay garden tour. If you can call Brian at 850-599-2510 I would be glad to talk about it. I can send photos of the yard if you prefer or come by and look at it. I have a friend who has been on the tour a couple of times and said you are needing more applicants for this coming tour. I can write a brief description
