Food Truck Fun

Make the most of the full moon on Saturday at Maclay Gardens State Park’s new event: Food Truck Fun, featuring music provided by Sir Charles Atkins and Darryl Steele. Sir Charles, sometimes referred to as Professor of the Blues, is known as a serious musician with a big heart. Steele, another Tallahassee musician, is known for playing a deep -down boogie or a spirit-lifting gospel beat on his famous guitar.

Food can be purchased from the food trucks for your enjoyment. The fun starts at 5:30 p.m. at the recreation area at Lake Hall in the park. Bring a lawn chair, blanket or sit on the grass and enjoy delicious food from the food trucks! There will also be a Ranger-led walk through the park and a full-moon paddle. The events are free with paid park admission of $6 per vehicle.
