Florida’s Race to the Moon

Join us for our monthly Second Saturday program.

We love Florida to the Moon and back! Join us as we explore the role that Florida played during the space race. Tour the Living the Dream—20th-century Florida, visit a moon rock, and discover how rockets propelled us to win the race to the Moon. Afterwards, create your very own moon rocket!

2nd Saturday Family Programs at the Museum of Florida History offer hands-on history for every member of the family. The program, admission, and parking are free.
