The Gadsden Arts Center & Museum will host a gallery talk with acclaimed Florida photographer Kevin Boldenow, discussing his photographs some of the last unspoiled places in Florida, hoping the viewer will join him in wanting to preserve them.
Kevin Boldenow, acclaimed Florida photographer, will be discussing how he focuses on his creative process in composing images of "old Florida" - uninhabited, haunting snapshots of the landscape. Through the use of black and white infrared film, Boldenow captures the textures of the land and adds a glow to his photographs that makes them seem otherworldly, as if capturing scenes of a time long ago forgotten.
