Florida State opera presents A Streetcar Named Desire, a 1995 opera by André Previn/Phillip Littell based on the Tennessee Williams play of the same name that was made famous in the 1951 film starring Marlon Brando and Vivien Leigh. With a southern gothic setting, it discusses the roles placed on women in a post-WWII America. Reserved seating. Tickets are $20 for adults; $15 for seniors and non-FSU students; and $10 for FSU students with ID.
