First Friday in November

Railroad Square is best known for the exciting and popular First Friday festival, which occurs on the first Friday of every month, providing a lively, enjoyable experience with open galleries/shops, live music, and delicious food. First Fridays have been going for over 20 years!
The festival has been recognized nationally by Forbes and Huffington Post and is Tallahassee’s most popular, longest-running monthly cultural event!
Railroad Square is the place to go to support creative LOCAL businesses and experience a variety and uniqueness not found in any other single location in town…from vintage, to specialty stores, and antiques, to fine art, there are so many creative shops, a non-profit theater, an authentic pinball arcade, a gaming shop, a cult cinema, and a specialty kayak shop…there’s something for everyone!
Food and beverage options include the Square Mug Cafe, Railroad Square Crafthouse, Oh Lemonade!, Halisi Africa, and the Crumbox Gastgarden, which is the only cafe in town built out of a real railroad caboose! (Not to mention the variety of food trucks that also come to this event.)
This staple Tallahassee event is now being organized and hosted by ACERS, the non-profit organization that provides Arts + Cultural Events at RRSQ. We hope to see you there with your friends and family.

COVID Re-opening Plan
Dear First Friday Guests, In our communities best interest, Railroad Square Art District staff and ACERS board is following the CDC guidelines and staying apprised of the ever-changing and evolving force of the Covid-19 virus. We want First Friday to stay a happy and healthy event so we are currently recommending that masks be worn indoors and in crowded areas. Each business is encouraged to post their own personal requirements as well. Masks are provided near the front. Thank you for complying.
