Psyanky Eggs Available at Wiregrass Gallery

Collectors often have these beautiful eggs on display year around.  The eggs shown in the pictue are wooden (more sturdy) and are painted with oil and acrylic paints and then sealed with a clear gloss glaze.  There is a limited number, so come in and check them out!  Fran Buie, the artist, believes that art is a universal language and expression that can bring people from different backgrounds and life experiences together into a common community. She has displayed her artwork at the Tallahassee Downtown Market, the Gadsden Arts Gallery, the Jefferson Arts Gallery, the Sea Oats Gallery as well as the Wiregrass Art Gallery in Thomasville.  She has served as the Art Curator for the Tallahassee Senior Center at the North Florida Fair.  Her oil paintings focus on wildlife, seascapes, landscapes and some still life.  Recently she has been working on portraits and dancers.  She has also created wearable art, painting on silk.  Fran loves having the ability to create, and to express her love of nature’s grandeur.  Her work has garnered several awards in juried shows.  She teaches oil and acrylic painting part-time. Fran has degrees in Commercial Art, Music Performance, pre-med and an MBA in Administration.  After moving to Tallahassee, she worked in an art studio organizing a variety of art shows while serving as an administrator and project manager for the State of Florida.
