Tallahassee–Funkalicious! Fantastical! Flamboyant! Fun! Those are just four of the 35 F-words describing the 35-year-old Mickee Faust Club, Tallahassee’s Fabled community theater for the weird community, which is celebrating its birthday with a brand-new show! Aptly titled Faust at 35, this Festive Foray features a mix of original comic skits, videos and musical parodies written and performed by your Freakier Tallahassee Family and Friends.

“Who knew we’d still be alive at 35?!” exclaimed the Fetching, Fearless, Foul-mouth, Flirtatious, gender-Fluid Field Rat, Mickee Faust itself. “And as Frolicking and Feral as ever! Over the years, our Faust writers have been Fabulously Fecund. So this, our 35th, features something old, something new, something borrowed, and something. . . well, the second half of the show is kind of blue, so maybe take the kids home at intermission.”

Will we be hearing more about this controversy during the show? “Are you kidding? About that. And Ayn Rand. And Self Sabotaging Monsters. And a radio show just for Quakers. And Neanderthals making a last stand against capitalism. And a really hot take on lesbian’s sex lives. And. And. And. I could go on and on only two of the skits begin with the letter F—Full-Stop and Free-dum. And I hope you appreciate how cleverly I’ve woven 35 F-words into this little missive – which would have been a lot easier if I could have used the Filthy ones.”

Local bands Eclectic Acoustic and the Bog Lilies will provide music before and after the show on our backyard stage.

Show runs March 24th – 26th & March 30th – April 1st.

Show times are 8 pm except during our Sunday show which is at 4 pm.
