Exhibit Opening & Reception "They Led the Way"

The Florida Trust for Historic Preservation will host the exhibition They Led the Way beginning May 19, 2016 at our headquarters, the historic Hays Hood House, 906 East Park Avenue, Tallahassee.  Hosting this exhibit provides us an opportunity to invite public participation in and increase awareness of the importance of preserving and recognizing our history.

They Led the Way will open with a reception on May 19th, 5:00 p.m-8:00 p.m. at the Hays Hood House, a 1910 restored Queen Anne style home.  Visitors to the exhibit may be shuttled among several other activities, all of which serve as the Opening Night for the Season of Emancipation that begins on May 20.
