The double bass workshop is an intensive, three day workshop where students can hone their skills through solo/group playing and instruction from FSU faculty.
This specialized workshop for double bass players gives campers an opportunity to focus on skills and repertoire specific to their instrument. Campers will work alongside FSU faculty members to study solo and ensemble literature, tone production, technique development, how to practice for maximum effectiveness and how to prepare for an audition. Campers will attend master classes, bowing technique classes, and practice sessions. All campers will practice and perform in a small ensemble.

Registration for camp is now open. You can register online or by mailing in a registration form. Day Camper Price: $251.00 (Includes tuition only. No housing or meals.) Night Camper Price: $347.00 - (Includes tuition and housing with three meals per day). A $100.00 non-refundable deposit is due at registration. Balance of camp fees are due by June 6.
