Digging through Goodwood's China: An Archaelogical Perspective on Ceramics

This First Friday Lecture Series by Barbara Ann Clark, of the Public Archaeology Network, highlights ceramics through time with a special emphasis on styles found on Goodwood’s grounds and the objects displayed in the exhibit.

"Centuries of Settings- From Simple to Sublime" is a  new exhibit at Goodwood which tells the story of ceramic use and dining customs through the ages using the museum’s porcelain collection and archaeological artifacts from the region.  Goodwood has partnered with the Florida Division of Historical Resources, the Florida Public Archaeology Network, and the Tallahassee Porcelain Arts Guild to present this fabulous exhibit.  Join us for the exhibit and series of free and ticketed events
