David Cobb

Following on the success of 2021’s award winning Felices Días by his group Maharajah Flamenco Trio, David has released Bright, Quiet Things, music inspired by memory and love, nature and adventure. The music is intimate and expansive, uniquely balancing the instrumental and the vocal, influenced by classical and world music. In addition to his own compositions, David performs music from diverse sources, including Argentina, Brazil, Iceland, and France, as well as material from American musical traditions. As an ethnomusicologist, David brings cultural insight into this wonderful music.
