The Runaway Biscuits
Join us Friday, August 26th for a fun community contra dance! We’re in for a treat as the Runaway Biscuits will be playing live old-time tunes and our very own Tom Greene will be calling the dances.
Tallahassee community contra dances have resumed at the Senior Center on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month! Contra dancing is a beginner-friendly American folk dance for all ages. It shares many moves with square dancing (such as swing your partner and do-si-do) and is danced in long lines to live music. The bands and callers vary each month. ADMISSION INFO
Admission cost: $10 for Adults, $9 Seniors over 50, $6 for Students, Free for Kids under 12
Admission is payable by cash or check at the door. Newcomers get in to your 2nd dance free!
