Join us Friday, December 8th for a fun community contra dance! Tallahassee’s talented Tom Greene and Long Forgotten String Band will be teaming up for this last dance of the year.
Tallahassee community contra dances have resumed in the Senior Center Ballroom on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month! Contra dancing is an upbeat, beginner-friendly American folk dance for all ages. It shares many moves with square dancing (such as swing your partner and do-si-do) and is danced in long lines to live music. The bands and callers vary each night. ADMISSION INFO
Admission cost: $10 for Adults, $9 Seniors over 50, $6 for Students, Free for Kids under 12
Admission is payable by cash, check, or card at the door. Newcomers get in to your 2nd dance free!
