Join us Friday, September 23rd for a fun community contra dance! Tallahassee’s talented Vicki Morrison will be calling the dances and Just For Fun will be playing the tunes.
Tallahassee community contra dances have resumed at the Senior Center on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month! Contra dancing is a beginner-friendly American folk dance for all ages. It shares many moves with square dancing (such as swing your partner and do-si-do) and is danced in long lines to live music. The bands and callers vary each month. ADMISSION INFO
Admission cost: $10 for Adults, $9 Seniors over 50, $6 for Students, Free for Kids under 12
Admission is payable by cash or check at the door. Newcomers get in to your 2nd dance free!
