Join us Friday, June 24th for a fun community contra dance! Tallahassee’s talented Tom Greene and In Cahoots will be teaming up for this marvelous mid-summer dance.
After a long pause due to COVID, Tallahassee community contra dances have resumed at the Senior Center! Contra dancing is a beginner-friendly American folk dance for all ages. It shares many moves with square dancing (such as swing your partner and do-si-do) and is danced in long lines to live music. The bands and callers vary each month. ADMISSION INFO
Admission cost: $10 for Adults, $9 Seniors over 50, $6 for Students, Free for Kids under 12
Admission is payable by cash or check at the door. Newcomers get in to your 2nd dance free!
