The Runaway Biscuits
Join us Friday, March 10 for a fun community contra dance! Alice Raibourn will be joining us all the way from Orlando to call the dances and Tallahassee’s own In Cahoots is conspiring to play sensational old-time tunes.
Tallahassee community contra dances have resumed in the Senior Center Ballroom on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month! Contra dancing is an upbeat, beginner-friendly American folk dance for all ages. It shares many moves with square dancing (such as swing your partner and do-si-do) and is danced in long lines to live music. The bands and callers vary each night. Admission cost: $10 for Adults, $9 Seniors over 50, $6 for Students, Free for Kids under 12
Admission is payable by cash, check, or card at the door. Newcomers get in to your 2nd dance free!
