
Annie S. Harris’s paintings are an homage to what is good and strong in all of us. She has a deep respect for people, from all walks of life, and their unique ability to rise above adversity.
While her main medium is acrylic paint, Harris often selects unconventional surfaces to paint on, including glass, wood and matboard. Her art comes from her ability to see things as what they can be, rather than what they are.
“A piece of trash to someone else, to me, is a possibility,” she says.
