An authentic Zydeco band from Lake Charles, La. and Waco, Tx. will perform for us Wednesday evening on their way to the Florida keys. Zydeco is the music and dance of the Creoles of Southwest Louisiana and East Texas. The distinguishing instruments are the accordion and the frottoir (washboard, or rubboard).
