About the author:
Michael is a traveler, social commentator, and human rights advocate. His work in education, restorative justice, public policy, needs assessment, and human services delivery has influenced his life. However, it was the conscious decision to immerse himself in unfamiliar cultures and lifestyles while traveling with his family that was transformational. Many people “journal” to remember events or life lessons but Michael takes it a different direction by fusing a travel memoir with an autobiography in The Gift of Travel. Perhaps it may be best referred to as a “Travelography.”
