Called a “keyboard wizard” by The New Yorker, BOB MALONE has amassed a loyal international fan-base through twenty-five years of relentless touring and nine critically acclaimed album releases. He has also played keyboards for John Fogerty since 2011. He’s been a session player for Ringo Starr and Avril Lavigne, and his recording of “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch” was the theme in the 2018 Illumination/Universal movie trailers for The Grinch. Bob combines unforgettable songwriting, refreshing reinterpretations of classic tunes, and a one-of-a-kind hybrid of rock, melodic pop, blues, and New Orleans R&B, delivered with high-energy piano virtuosity and a voice all his own. Opening for Bob Malone, Rachel Hillman is an American songwriter that composes in English and Spanish with influences from Blues, Jazz, and other American follk styles. In 2018, Hillman returned to Florida State University to continue her education in Jazz and improvisation, and since her graduation has continued to perform her music regionally with bands, tour as a solo musician, and play with the Tallahassee Swing Band and other groups. Hillman is an independent artist, and she has recorded Ethnikids Studios (“Bonfire” 2016), Cat Family Records (“Roadie” 2018), Log Cabin Studios (“Take It Back” 2017), and Gasoline Alley (“Influences” 2020, “Cold Feet” 2020, and collaborations with Sinner’s Gospel and Edessa).
