Anderson Brickler Gallery is proud to collaborate with the Southside Arts Complex by presenting a multi-faceted performance art piece that includes jazz, singing and comedy.

Black Excellence is the result of a vision implemented by Marcus Rhodes, Executive Director of Southside Arts Complex, to recognize historical African American performance artists. This performance by Lilita Forbes, Deangelo Green, Shaniece Johnson, Nicole Ortiz and Marcus Rhodes honors Marian Anderson, Moms Mabley, Bob Marley and Paul Robeson.
