Combining Artists’ Motives for Self-Expression with a Contemporary View on Freedom.
The historic Union Bank African-American Fine Arts Gallery celebrates the “News of Freedom” that relates directly to “Emancipation Day” and “Juneteenth” in the United States with it's newest exhibit "Black America - Under Deconstruction." This exhibit portray freedom as it relates to all aspects of African-American life in the U.S.. Artwork displayed is intended to celebrate the power of knowledge through the freedom of expression by creative arts.
