Big Bend Community Orchestra: Music in Motion concert

Music for all ages! Come enjoy an afternoon of symphonic music with the Big Bend Community Orchestra featuring a wide variety of composers and styles. Free admission. Children ages 12 and under will be invited on stage during one work!

Sunday, November 6th at 3:30 PM. Dr. Shelby Chipman, Conductor; Lisa M. Foltz, Associate Conductor. Featuring Beethoven ~ Symphony No. 5, Movements 1 & 2; Frescobaldi ~ Toccata; Weber ~ Overture to Euryanthe; Gould ~ Guaracha from Latin American Symphonette; Sanders ~  Saturday Night; Albinoni ~ Sonata for Six with Trumpet (Dr. Charles Baker, Trumpet). Free admission. Children ages 12 and under will be invited to the stage to get a closer look at the instruments during one work.

  1. On Sunday's you may park in any space behind Lee Hall except the FAMU President's space.
