The FAMU Jazz Faculty in concert performing the music of Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers. They will be joined by vocalists Darryl Tookes and Alethea Kilgore for an exciting evening of jazz standards, swing and hard bop.
The Florida A&M University Jazz Faculty Ensemble will perform music from the legendary Hard Bop group "Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers." They will be joined by vocalists Darryl Tookes and Alethea Kilgore who will deliver renditions of jazz standards featuring their unique stylizations and interpretations. This will be an evening of stellar jazz performances by world class jazz musicians.
