Art & Conversation with Plein Air Painter Sharon Will

Michigan artist Sharon Will joins us for a free artist talk and oil painting demonstration from 4 – 5 p.m. followed by a meet-the-artist reception from 5 – 7 p.m.  You will have first chance to view and purchase paintings at her one-weekend show of works selected especially for us.
Her presentation will include a demo in oil of a local Apalachicola scene, using as inspiration a plein air pastel sketch.  During the hour, she will take us through her thoughts and planning – from composition thumbnails and notans, to decisions in value, color and underpainting options. With plenty of time for questions, it’s a wonderful opportunity for the artist and the collector, to learn about her creative process.
