New oil paintings by Amanda Boekhout will be on view at Sage Restaurant March 27- May 27. An informal meet and mingle will be on Friday April 13th from 6-9pm.
"Act Like a Plant" is a series of oil paintings celebrating the cycle of life exhibited by plants. In the winter, the plants 'die' and in the spring they are 'reborn.' The life of spring brings beautiful blooms that wither away quickly leaving the plant stronger and sturdier, always growing. Through this meditation on plant life, I have decided that plants have much to teach us about life!
