Mary Colter, the foremost architect of the Southwest is brought back to life in this play with a unique perspective to a timeless story of a woman struggling to establish herself in the male-dominated world of early twentieth century architecture.
Apalachicola Center for History, Culture & Art is proud to present A Woman By Design, a play about Mary Colter in Apalachicola Friday, March 23 at 7pm with an encore presentation Saturday, March 24 at 7pm in the upstairs gallery. Tickets are available at the door as a $20 suggested donation, or in advance by contacting Apalachicola Center for History, Culture & Art. We have limited seating, to reserve seats email, call or visit HCA at 86 Water Street, downtown Apalachicola. The play will take place in the upstairs gallery space of a restored Cotton Exchange Warehouse that was renovated into an art, history and culture center. Snacks and beverages will be available.
