"A Night at The Oscars"

“The envelope please…” Sunday, March 12, 2023 brings the 95th Academy Awards ceremony to Hollywood and the return of the annual FSU College of Motion Picture Arts Oscar Party Fundraiser – “A Night at the Oscars” to Tallahassee. We are rolling out the red carpet once again to celebrate the biggest night in motion pictures – the Academy Awards! Come celebrate the evening with us on the soundstages and rub elbows with our accomplished faculty who have worked on some of the industry’s most beloved films, meet some of our students who are sure to be the Oscar winners of tomorrow, and learn what makes the FSU Film School one of the most recognized and highly regarded film schools in the U.S. The night will be filled with entertainment, goodies and prizes, delicious catered food and a full bar. Plus, our popular silent auction will be back with the opportunity to bid on a touch of Hollywood. The main soundstage will be decked out with elegant dinner tables reminiscent of the first award ceremony dinners in the historic Roosevelt Hotel ballroom and will have the ceremony projected on the screen. The Stage B Lounge will be the low key place to hang out while still watching the ceremony and maybe grabbing your selfie in front of the step & repeat. Dress to impress or go low profile in your best LA cool. Don’t be surprised if the paparazzi snaps your photo! All proceeds raised from the event go directly to the support of our students and programs. ONLINE TICKETS SALES END FRIDAY, MARCH 10 @ 5:00PM. Tickets will be on sale at the door the night of the event with credit or debit cards only.
