A Man in their Eyes is a play inspired by revisionist westerns that follows Elias Holloway and Wilhelm Macon, bounty hunters both unfit for their profession, as they track the wife of a major ranch owner across California. Their pursuit of a memory finds themselves in unusual times and unusual circumstances, but comfort and security can still be found in the kindness of strangers. But how long will this security last in the brutal California desert? The morals that define and restrict Elias are put into question, and he must confront truths about what it means to be a man. But being a man may not be enough to keep the desert from claiming the lives of the innocent.
