For National Poetry Month, join the Museum of Florida History educators at the Eastside Branch of the Leon County Public Library for a special 2nd Saturday program featuring hands-on activities for CHILDREN ages 4 to 8 and their families.
They will explore how Florida’s beautiful oceans, animals, and bright sunshine have inspired many poems. Poems are an exceptional way to paint a picture of Florida with words. Kids will work together to create a poem by arranging cut-out words.
Each free program runs from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and is designed for children ages 4 to 8 and their families.
