2nd Saturday—Fishing Towns

Join us at the Museum of Florida History on the second Saturday of each month for special programs featuring hands-on activities for young historians.

Grab some bait and get busy fishing! While exploring our temporary exhibit, The Lure of Florida Fishing, learn all about sport fishing, the tourists it brings, and Florida fish camps that dot the state. From Florida’s first people all the way to the modern day, fishing has had a large impact on our state!
