Toni Morrison was our nation’s only African-American recipient of the Nobel Prize in Literature. FAMU’s Department of English and Modern Languages will celebrate her life and art at this year’s Spring Literary Forum Series.
Toni Morrison (1931-2019) was one of this country's most prolific storytellers. In her eleven novels and essay collections, she sought to present the beauty, joy, and pain experienced in African-American life.
