Tallahassee Irish Step Dancers

The Tallahassee Step Dancers were founded by dancers David Jones and Shannon O’Bryan in 1999. They are Tallahassee’s first Irish dance troupe contributing to the local heritage and traditions by participating in local and area events. Traditional and modern Celtic music are used to teach both Irish softshoe and hardshoe dance styles. Tallahassee Irish Step Dancers rehearse at Killearn Performing Arts dance studio and members dance the lead roles in KPAs winter production of The Snow Queen, an Irish ballet retelling the famous Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale.
