COCA’s Board represents a diverse wealth of knowledge and includes citizens with expertise in the following areas: finance, marketing, volunteerism, history/heritage, practicing artist, tourism, and business. A current list of Board members is available by clicking here.

The COCA Board typically meets five times each year with occasional additional special meetings scheduled.

COCA bylaws stipulate that a Board member may not miss more than a third of the meetings in a given year.

The COCA Board is a policy board. Members make decisions regarding funding and oversee the strategic and operational planning of the organization. We encourage Board members to become members of COCA but there are no fundraising requirements.

The Board’s main role is to uphold the Section 265.32 of the Florida Statutes and to advocate for the organization and the larger cultural community.
