Uncover, Manage & Master Human Biases

We know that all positive change regarding healing our human biases to improve as service providers begins with applied self­awareness, the kind of awareness that leads to substantive change. Join Yolanda and UPHS for "Uncover, Manage, & Master Human Biases," where we will explore the role our personal social conditioning plays in internalizing human biases. We examine how our membership in certain groups influences our beliefs, values, and actions. We learn how increased emotional intelligence can help minimize the negative effects of our internalized biases. Grounding and other mindfulness/relaxation practices can aid in self-awareness and help improve job
performance and mental health.
