The Nature Conservancy Art Contest

Do you have a deep connection to Florida Nature and appreciate its fortitude or draw strength from it? If so, let this be your inspiration to enter TNC Florida’s Center for Conservation Initiatives Art Contest, Nature Inspires!

Create a Florida nature inspired piece of art that represents this year’s competition theme: “Finding Strength in Nature.” Submissions must be visual art, including, but not limited to digital art, painting, or sculpture. Video, photography, and sculptures made from natural or perishable items will not be accepted.

When you submit your piece by following the directions below, it will be considered for display at Lighthouse ArtCenter in Tequesta as part of a temporary art installation. The top three winners will win a family fun day at Blowing Rocks Preserve on Jupiter Island! With your participation, we’ll continue to cherish our connection to Florida wildlife and wild places.

Florida has some of the most striking nature inspiration, from beautiful aquatic life in our springs and on the coasts to charismatic weather, ecosystems, and plants. Consider what in nature inspires you most in the sunshine state and let your creative energy be your guide!

*If you would like to submit artwork that is too large to have on exhibit, such as street art or sand sculptures, high-quality photos of your original pieces may be considered on a case-by-case basis.*

Deadline for entry is July 31, 2023 at 11:59pm
