Summer Fine Arts Instructor

Multiple Positions in musical theater, visual arts and choreography

Status: Part-time | Paid

We need a creative soul! Thomasville Center for the Arts seeks a part-time Fine Arts instructor to teach elementary students ranging from rising first graders to rising sixth graders in our summer camp program. Knowledge of visual arts, art history and /or performing arts is preferred. This candidate should have experience in working with children and in fine arts. Schedule is June 20-23 and June 26-29 from 9:00 -3:00PM with paid prep time.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan lessons and instruct elementary school aged students in fine arts.

2. Provide a safe, accepting and loving environment with students from all backgrounds.

3. Be able to teach, plan and prepare an end of semester show at the closure of camp for families and friends to enjoy.
