Ceramic Studio Assistant

Looking for clay artists willing to trade work for access to ceramic studio. Applicants must be experienced in clay, have personal references and examples of work. Each internship will be three months long so artists can focus on a specific project. Part time studio artists (10-15 hours/week) will be required to give back three hours a week of work. Full time artists (15- 30 hours/week) will be required to give back 6 hours a week. In exchange for work, artists can access wheels, slab roller, glazes and get their work fired. Clay is not included but can be purchased at reduced rate.  Work exchange will require applicant to routinely lift 50 lbs. boxes of clay, clean and maintain equipment and help with classroom activities. Internships will be filled on a rotating basis.
