Community & Organization Grants

Cross-Sector Impact Grants – Applications Cycle Now Open!
These grants of up to $15,000 support projects developed by partners—one arts organization or artist and one non-arts organization—that harness the power of “arts and…” collaboration.

  • Informational Webinar: Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. ET
  • Letter of Interest deadline: Monday, August 1, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. ET
  • Full Application deadline (by invitation only, following Letter of Interest): Monday, October 3, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. ET
    Projects must occur between January 1, 2023, and June 30, 2024.

Professional Development and Artistic Planning Grants Program – Rolling Deadline.
These grants offer up to $1,000 to support the professional development needs of Southern presenters, programmers, or curators.

Traditional Arts Touring Grants Program – Application Closed
These funding projects bring a traditional artist/ensemble and a scholar/folklorist for multi-day residencies in Southern communities.

Artist Grants & Fellowships

Individual Artist Career Opportunity Grants – Application Closed
The Individual Artist Career Opportunity Grant supports a milestone opportunity in an individual artist’s career that is likely to lead to substantial and significant career advancement. Grants of up to $2,000 are available to support opportunities taking place between July 1, 2022, and June 30, 2023. Applications are due at least 60 days prior to activities. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until this program’s funds are depleted.

Jazz Road Tours Grants Program – Application Closed

Jazz Road Creative Residencies – Application Closed

Southern Prize and State Fellowships – Application Closed
These prizes celebrate and support nine artists. This program is open to artists living in our region working in crafts, drawing, experimental, painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, and multidisciplinary art forms.
