About us:

Warrior on the River is a performing arts venue located in Tallahassee, Florida. Our mission is to give our customers an enjoyable live entertainment experience, while providing them the best customer service the industry has to offer. In addition, a large part of our mission is to help local and regional musicians promote, develop, and build a fan base that will help both the artist and the venue grow. We currently have a small-medium following across our social media platforms (1.8k on IG & 11.5k on FB) and are looking for the right person to help grow our presence and audience online. 

Job Type: Part-time 

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work 10-15 hours per week
  • Ability to work independently
  • Creative


  • Marketing or Communications major or relevant coursework
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in social media management
  • Knowledge of Meta Business Suite

Responsibilities include: 

  • Use social media marketing to create and maintain the company’s online brand
  • Analyze customer expectations and trends according to past social media activity
  • Work with marketing committee to develop social media campaigns
  • Engage with customers and followers via social media accounts
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns
  • Update social media content across all channels (Facebook, Instagram, Youtube) and ensure that all events etc. are amply promoted 
  • Use project management and social media marketing tools such as Buffer and Trello
  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Find and promote user-generated content (UGC)
  • Develop content or coordinate the development of content through communication with our team of photographers, videographers, and graphic designers
  • Keep an eye on social media trends

Pay: $11/hr for the first 60 days. $12/hr after the first 60 days. Annual pay raises up to $15/hr.
