Short Film Casting Call
A short film director in the central Florida area is looking to cast five roles locally. The filming would be over the course of five days in early January, between the 1st and the 12th, in Orlando, Geneva, and Apopka. There is no pay but travel will be reimbursed, lodging and food will be provided.
Film Synopsis:
A family man and his young daughters get lost en route to Disney and meets a local eccentric who is his exact opposite. When the family takes shelter from a storm at the locals' house, the two men discover they have more in common than they realize.
The following roles are being cast:
Greg: 30-40 years old, caucasian - Straight-laced family man trying to make a memorable trip for his daughters.
Eliza: 4-8 years old, caucasian - Precocious, rambunctious. Traveling to Disney World with their Dad.
Olivia: 4-8 years old, caucasian - Precocious, rambunctious. Traveling to Disney World with their Dad.
Leti: 30-40 years old, Latina - Working-class woman, single mother. Quiet, modest, reserved.
Rosalita: 30-40 years old, Latina - Working-class woman looking to let off some steam on her night off. A flirtatious firecracker.
