Seasoned Local Program

Nobody knows Tallahassee like those who live here, but even they may not have seen everything we have to offer. So, we’ve invited them to become a “Seasoned Local” and get rewarded for discovering what makes Florida’s Capital so special. All they have to do is snap a photo at any of Tallahassee’s most exciting events, gorgeous landmarks or revered local attractions, then submit their photos online to be eligible to win some awesome new prizes. It’s a great way to share our best features with our locals, who in turn will share them with their out-of-town friends.

THERE IS AN ADVENTUROUS BUCKET LIST OF 25 LOCAL EXPERIENCES PLUS A BONUS EXPERIENCE INCLUDING... 

1. Bone up on your knowledge of prehistoric animals and visit Herman the mastodon at the Museum of Florida History. 

3. Show us your favorite Tallahassee street art mural. 

4. Espresso-yourself! Show us your favorite beverage at a local coffee shop. 

14. Cheer on a local sporting event. 

15. Explore the Challenger Learning Center and see an IMAX film; Monthly Skies Over Tallahassee Planetarium Show; OR attend SCIturday event. 

19. Get out into nature and explore one of Trailahassee.com’s trails or rivers. 

20. Explore the wilder side of Florida’s native animals at the Tallahassee Museum. 

23. These 3 letters show your civic pride! Take a photo of the TLH structure on Capital Cascades Trail. 

24. Everyone says Fri-YAY at Railroad Square Art Park’s First Friday. 

26. Take a Tallahassee Staycation. Spend a night as a visitor in a Tallahassee hotel. Take a photo inside a hotel room, at the pool, restaurant or bar and receive a special gift item! 

Each season we'll create a new bucket list giving residents the chance to experience all of Tallahassee. So if you don't see your business, attraction or event on the list, don't worry - we're just getting started.
