Sales Associate at Florida's History Shop - Part Time

This position is for the gift shops at the Capitol, Florida Historic Capitol Museum, and the Museum of Florida History. We specialize in Florida-themed gifts and souvenirs for visiting guests, school groups, and legislators. We interact with visitors from all over the country and the world, school groups from across the state, and help legislators and diplomats find interesting gifts to take home.

This position involves working at the cash register, interacting with customers, and checking and receiving new merchandise. Applicants should be able to work on a computer, receive and make phone calls, be able to lift and move boxes and merchandise reasonably and travel from one store location to another. Applicants must also pass a background check as all stores are located in State buildings.

We are flexible and are willing to work around school schedules or other jobs. The stores are open M-F 9-4:30, Sat 10-4:30, Sun 12-4:30

15/hr. pay (Minimum 10 hrs. – Maximum 25 hrs.)
