Join us to celebrate the arts in Florida!
The Council on Culture & Arts (COCA), in partnership with the Florida Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs, invites you to be part of Arts and Culture Week at the state capitol during the 2019 Legislative Session.
This annual advocacy celebration is bigger and better than ever because this year there are new opportunities for the cultural community to get involved. Along with the Chalk Walk event and booths highlighting local arts organizations and businesses, we're offering PAID performance opportunities to local performing artists.
The event will be held on March 28, 2019 at the state capitol. The 20-minute performances will run from 9:00am-2:00pm and will take place on and around the capitol courtyard (between the old and new capitols). Please indicate your interest by filling out this quick electronic form by Feb. 15 and we'll follow up with more details.

I have a very large children's choir at school with 50, 1st-4th grade students and 10 additional middle school students. We live here locally in Tallahassee and would love to advocate for the arts and share the joy of music during the upcoming session. We would be available in April at any time during the 9-2 window.
