Part Time OPS Museum Educator

OPS MUSEUM EDUCATION PROGRAM REPRESENTATIVE

The Museum of Florida History is seeking applicants for a part-time OPS Museum Education Program Representative.  This position will work up to 20 hrs/week as needed.  Duties include giving introductions, tours, and programs to student and adult groups; staff the Welcome Desk as needed; maintain daily visitor statistics, weekend, special event, and other requested reports; help create and implement Museum programming; and additional duties.  The position requires a bachelor’s degree, preferred subjects are education, museum studies, social studies, history, anthropology, or related fields, and availability to work weekends on a regular basis.  Applicant must pass a Level 2 background check.  For a complete position description or to apply please email Trampas.Alderman@dos.myflorida.com.
