Mediamaker Fellowship

On behalf of BAVC Media, I am writing to let you know that we have opened our call for projects for our annual Mediamaker Fellowship! Applications are due Tuesday, January 3.

The MediaMaker Fellowship is a collaborative, community-driven Fellowship for filmmakers who not only want to shape their films in a supportive environment but build career-spanning relationships with peers and mentors.

We would be very grateful if you would share this opportunity both broadly with your community and directly with those who could benefit! This document contains graphics and suggested language (including image descriptions) that you can use to share this opportunity with your larger community/network on social media in your upcoming newsletters. If there are specific filmmakers that you are in touch with who are working on interesting projects and who would benefit from a collaborative, community-driven Fellowship experience please encourage them to apply! We really appreciate your help spreading the news.

On a much smaller scale, we are also searching for application evaluators to help us read and review submissions. I have a very brief application that breaks down the (paid) gig that begins in early January. Please share directly with anyone you know who may be a good fit or apply yourself!
