Interested in being an Interviewer on an autobiography project in Tallahassee, Florida?

This is a part-time gig with LifeTime Memoirs– we are hiring for this single project which is 10 90-minute interviews (plus one session to review available materials to date) over a 3-5 month time period. It is a highly rewarding opportunity to help someone capture their life story to preserve it, in writing, for their family.

Interviews are compensated at $55 per 90-minute interview.  This particular Author has suggested Monday and Wednesday mornings are his best availability for interviews.

The role of the LifeTime Memoirs Interviewer is to help capture amazing stories about a person’s life. You will facilitate a life journey unfolding by building a relationship with an author over a series of personal visits. You will play a vital role in bringing to life and recording their autobiographical stories, creating a wonderful family legacy. The interviewer will visit the author(s), usually in their own home, for about 12 meetings (in this instance 10 meetings, plus 1 session to review materials) over a 3-5 month period. Each regular meeting lasts 90 minutes and is digitally recorded for a ghostwriter to creatively adapt into a 200-page hardback book with the support of a LifeTime Memoirs editor, project manager, proofreader and typesetter. LifeTime Memoirs is the private autobiography specialist and confidentiality is essential at all times.
