League of Historic American Theatres - Venue Re-opening Considerations

We are in uncharted territory with the impact of COVID-19 on the arts community. In my 25-year career in arts management, the only other event that I can think of that might have had a similar impact were the weeks following 9/11 when artists were unable or unwilling to travel and patrons were nervous about large public gatherings. LHAT has reached out to other leading arts organizations to determine what type of advocacy can happen to ensure that arts organizations have access to some type of relief effort if needed. We will share information as it comes in.
